Jonathan Backman is a Canadian Filmmaker currently residing in Malta, working as a freelance Commercial Videographer and Filmmaker. He grew up with a love for all kinds of stories ranging from: movies, television and books. At a young age, he involved himself in the Toronto film and theatre acting scenes which would eventually lead him on the path of writing and directing films of his own. He established International recognition with his short film ‘The Maestro’, which received accolades from both local and foreign Festivals & Competitions.
